Leaving on a jet plane

Yipeee!! It was my last day yesterday!! I am now officially unemployed - i never thought i'd be saying that!!

I'm having my family leaving do tomorrow afternoon / evening - it'll be nice to get to say "Goodbye and Farewell" to everyone.

I'm taking the hamster over to Sara's tonight with all of our joint house belongings for her as she is moving out of her mum's soon. It'll be weird not having the little hamster keep me awake all night!!

All flights are now confirmed apart from the one returning to the UK (which i want to miss anyway.... :-))

Ok - leave the UK on 8th Feb arrive in Bangkok on 9th Feb
Travel overland from Bangkok in Thailand through Malaysia (internal flight to Borneo) then back Singapore

Leave Singapore on 9th April bound for Ozzie land
Travel overland through OZ and work as and when we can

Leave Melbourne on 14th October bound for Christchurch, New Zealand
Travel overland through NZ

Leave Auckland, New Zealand on 18th November bound for Fiji

Leave Fiji on 3rd December bound for Hawaii (yeah baby!!)
We're in Hawaii for the anniversary of Pearl Harbour

Leave Hawaii on 10th December bound for LA
Travel overland through the US, spend Christmas and New Year in NYC

Leave New York City on xx January 2007 bound for Sunny Nunny!!
(The date is unconfirmed - possibly around 7/8th Jan)

That's the lot!

Last night was first of my leaving do's, it was at a gig in Coventry watching my favourite local bands - it was the best I have ever seen Trailer play, visit the website: www.trailermusic.co.uk These guys are the best unsigned local band ever!!

First time using a blog!

Well i've never used one of these before, so here goes!!

It's 30 something days til we leave and I have almost everything I need except an adaptor.

Em and I are meeting in Birmingham next weekend to go to STA to confirm the final details of the flights; currently only the flights up to arriving in Perth are confirmed. The rest we have to do on Saturday.

I think the dates will look something like this for those of you who want to know:
